I was born in the UK and spent my childhood both in London and in India, before relocating to Qatar in 2018. I completed my teacher training through the Teach First programme at the Institute of Education, London in 2012.

Since completing my teacher training, I have gained extensive experience in primary education across both Key Stage 1 and 2. I am passionate about providing my pupils with the skills and knowledge they need, not only to succeed academically, but also in order to grow and develop into happy, kind, confident, and emotionally aware individuals.

I have also worked outside of the education sector, first as a management consultant in London and later as a programme manager for an anti-corruption organization in Qatar. I have been shortlisted twice for the Economist’s Nico Colchester political writing prize, have served as sub-editor of the Cambridge University Journal of Politics, and have also been shortlisted for the UK Wildlife Photographer of the Year award.

I enjoy cycling, photography, badminton, and playing guitar for my two daughters.
