This is an extremely exciting opportunity for a talented and qualified Design and Technology Teacher to join our school. You must have recent experience working as an D&T Teacher in a UK curriculum school. The role is due to start from August 2025. Candidates must be available from the 15th of August 2025 to commence employment.
United School International is the first and probably only school to be built on the Pearl, providing education for children within the local community. Because of its position, its beautiful architecture and facilities, The Pearl is one of the most desirable locations for both expatriate and local Qatar families in the city and is a rapidly growing and exciting place to live and work.
Our School includes year groups from FS to year 13 classes. The school has a number of state-of-the-art facilities to support exceptional teaching including the latest touch screen technology, technology labs, art facilities and easy access to carefully landscaped indoor and outdoor play areas. Additional facilities at the school include a 450 seater auditorium/theatre, STEAM & robotics room, swimming pool, training pool, badminton, volleyball, tennis, basketball courts and a full size football pitch.
The ideal candidate will have prior teaching experience to various year groups.
Applicants should be committed and outstanding teaching practitioners, able to lead in the classroom by example. The candidate must:
- Have a relevant Bachelor degree from a reputable university and qualified Teacher status, either PGCE or B.Ed from the UK
- Have previous relevant teaching experience.
- Have a passion for education, able to communicate clearly with good collaborative team working skills.

About the School
United School International is a newly founded school on the prestigious Pearl Development in Doha, Qatar, a residential development reclaimed from the Arabian Gulf. There is a combination of spacious high-rise apartments and luxurious villas currently housing a population of 33,000. When finally completed in two years’ time this will have risen to around 50,000.
