We offer a rich variety of free and specialist paid-for afterschool club activities. There's something to delight and inspire everyone.

At USI, we understand the importance of giving students the opportunity to extend their learning and develop new skills beyond school hours, as well as giving busy parents the opportunity to collect their children later in the day, safe in the knowledge that they are participating in a fun, educational and rewarding activity.

We run a full and varied After School Activities (ASA) programme, comprising free activities led by our own teachers, and paid-for activities run by some of Doha's most experienced external providers.

Early Years After School Provision

For our Early Years students, the main school day finishes at 1.45pm.

Some of our external providers offer activities for our Early Years students  - including our swimming academy, gymnastics, ballet and hip-hop. The programmes offered by our external providers changes from term to term - at the start of each term we will send parents information about which providers are running activities for our Early Years students, and parents can contact the providers directly to register.

ASAs for Primary and Secondary School Students

After the main school day finishes at 2pm, our ASA programme starts. For the first hour after school finishes, we have a wide range of activities which are led by our own teachers, and are therefore included in tuition fees. The programme includes classroom-based activities and sports activities.

Every few weeks, we launch a new programme of activities - in order for students to try different things, and to allow students who join us part-way through the term to join an activity that may have previously been full. Parents will receive an email with a link to the ASA programme, and then booking will open on the online platform (Schoolcloud) a few days later, at an advertised time, in order to give all parents an equal opportunity to book their preferred activities. Some of the more popular activities can fill up quite quickly, but across the week there are more than enough sessions to allow every student at school to participate in something.

External Providers

USI has partnered with some of Doha's leading After School Activity providers to create a rich and varied programme for students to access.

The timings of sessions varies depending on the age group - some of the sessions run during the first hour of ASAs (2.10pm to 3.10pm), others run after this and also at weekends.

We regularly add new providers to the list of activities - the programme currently includes Improtech Soccer Academy, Hamilton Aquatics Swimming Academy, Rebel Angels Gymnastics, BE Sports Rugby and Evolution Sports Basketball.

Parents can contact the providers directly to enquire, book and pay for the activities.
