NB. Parents with children attending external ASA provision from 3.30pm must make their own arrangements for pick-up.
Attendance, Registration and Absence
At USI, our expectation is that attendance will not fall below 95% in order for students to take full advantage of the educational opportunities available to them. Requests for absence during term time should only be made if necessary and are not automatically authorised. Permission should be sought in writing from the relevant Head of School or Executive Principal.
Any daily absence should be reported immediately, before the start of the school day. To inform the school of your child’s absence please email reception@unitedschool.qa (for primary and secondary students) and eyfsreception@unitedschool.qa (for EYFS students). Please note any absence without informing the school will be marked as unauthorized.
All children should be in their classroom by 7.30am, ready to start their first lesson at the designated time. If your child arrives after 7.45am they must report directly to reception who will record the attendance.
