A Message from the Head
Welcome to the Early Years Foundation Stage at United School International – where every child’s learning journey begins with curiosity, joy and confidence.
As Head of Early Years, I am proud to lead a team of passionate, experienced educators who understand that the early years are not just a stepping stone, but a powerful and formative stage in a child’s life. Together, we’ve created a nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued and excited to learn.
Our FS1 and FS2 classrooms are filled with meaningful play, rich language experiences and plenty of opportunities to explore both indoors and outdoors. Rooted in the British EYFS framework, our curriculum promotes independence, imagination and a deep love of learning, all while supporting each child’s personal, social and academic growth.
We believe that strong partnerships with families are the heart of early education. When school and home work together, children flourish – and we are committed to building those connections every step of the way.
Whether your child is just beginning their school journey or continuing to build on a strong foundation, we are here to support, inspire and champion them through each moment.
Warm regards,
Samantha Spencer

We use Class Dojo as our main communication tool between school and home. Through the app, your child’s teacher will:
- Share daily updates, photos and stories from the classroom
- Post reminders and upcoming events
- Update the class calendar with important dates
You can also send direct 1:1 messages to your child’s teacher, making it easy to stay connected and informed throughout the week.
Our teachers will set up classes in the first week of school.
Our EYFS curriculum is built around the British Early Years Foundation Stage framework, with a strong emphasis on learning through play to support each child’s development.
We offer:
- A play-based, child-led curriculum that supports communication, physical development, personal and social skills and early literacy and maths
- Daily opportunities for indoor and outdoor learning
- Specialist PE sessions twice a week with a qualified teacher
- Daily Phonics, Book Talk, Maths and Project time around free-flow sessions
- A team of fully qualified, experienced EYFS educators, passionate about delivering high-quality early education
We aim to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment where each child feels valued and confident to grow.
At United School International, we are proud to offer a broad selection of extracurricular activities for our students.
- S-Club is available for children who have older siblings attending after-school clubs. Places are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
- We host a wide variety of activities from external providers right here on campus, including sports, creative arts and language clubs.
